Rich Young Ruler

The rich young ruler comes to Jesus and ask questions about eternal life. Jesus responds with an invitation to shed all of things that would typically give status and meaning. His words are a picture of the kingdom that is vastly different than our expectations…the first will be last and the last will be first.
